Cosmetic treatments such as Botox, fillers, laser hair removal and body contouring are not covered by insurance and are paid directly. Medical dermatology services, including acne treatment, mole checks and removal of suspicious lesions, eczema, rosacea and hyperhidrosis treatment, may be covered depending on your plan. What should I expect at my first visit?
Your first visit begins with a short intake, then a conversation and examination with Dr. Darvish about your concerns and goals. He explains your options honestly, including what he would not recommend, and gives you a written plan with pricing. If you have booked a consultation and want to start a quick treatment such as Botox the same day, that is usually possible. The whole visit takes 30 to 45 minutes. Read more
